Something is Happening in Oregon 10/21/2026
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
In all our combined years and elections combined, Walt and I had never seen an election like this. We knocked door after door and began getting responses we were not expecting, Repubs have already voted and were excited about it. There is a real wave happening for Christine and a need to get rid of Kotax. Repubs were actually voting the day the ballots dropped. It may only be Washington County but we have said if she wins WashCo she wins the state.
Usually, Repubs hold their ballots until the last day to keep the Multnomah vote cheat machine from knowing the count. They never vote early but the message has gotten out to vote early so the door knockers can go chase the stragglers. We were picking it up last week that there was excitement in the Repubs as the need one more chance to change governor and perhaps change other offices from Dim to Repub.
Of the forty doors we knocked today and the dozen or so people we talked with, there were four or five who had already voted and excited to tell us. One guy who was a bachelor started to hand the cheat sheet back to me and I said how about giving it to someone else and he said he would give it to his buddy later he was going to see.
There is also a love of Trump out there that nobody is talking about. One guy said how even thoughChristine is not his favorite for some votes she had taken in the past he would vote for her. He then went on a long rant of how he just loves President Trump’s sense of humor of which I agreed and said a lot of people do not get New York humor. I told him how NYers, speak in shorthand while us Oregonians speak with a slow drawl and just cannot keep up and do not get NY speak and humor you only get from living around thirty million people crammed into a small area.
People are excited and not afraid at all about this coming election. There is a quiet confidence of Repubs have been overlooked by the same establishment that pushes the Dims 24/7 and been counting their chicks a little too early. They just assume the gas prices are too much for Trump to overcome when most know Iran had to be dealt with sooner or later and nobody has had a solution for the last 50 years; Trump is the only one willing to do something to make the world Iran nuclear/terror free.
In the end, what do the Dems and Kotax have to offer other than hatred of President Trump. They assume everyone hates him as much as they do when it is not the case. Is he everyone’s cup of tea with his over-the-top personality? No, but he has accomplished some giant things to make America better, safer, and economically stronger. Kotax has done just the opposite, and nobody really likes her extreme politics and massive failures in Oregon. What do they have to be excited about?
She has been promoted to Governor for carrying the DNC water and being a lesbian without a single accomplishment. If anyone were to look into her finances, they would likely find some corruption you see in all Blue states as the leaders believe they are a protected class who are above the law.
The doors are where you find the real poll numbers and these numbers are looking better than ever. Christine needs to get 90% of her Repubs to vote and by the looks and feel from our sample it is a real chance of hitting something close.
