Growing up in Eugene you became accustomed to the Oregon Ducks being the overachievers who always had a chip on their shoulders. They were always the little engine that could and had a pretty storied history of taking down teams far better than they were.

It began with Ronnie Lee and the Kamikaze Kids who knocked off UCLA and their 80-game winning streak in Mac Court and then again, the next year in LA. Football was another story as you could not win with one or two good players having a great game, but they would always be competitive. Eugene just hated to lose and would always have second-tier players playing over their heads against the USC’s of the world.

The basketball passion moved over to the Track and Field competitions with Prefontaine and continued after he died although he put Oregon on the map with his classic good looks and charisma. As the track team became a national power sending Olympian after Olympian to the Games and home of the Track Olympic Trials the town started attracting real athletes.

These athletes grew and a sprinter named Don Johnson beat the USC sprinters and was axed to play wide receiver for the football team. He ran one route which was go long and caught a few touchdowns which changed the team and was the start of the speed kills identity and took it to the next level getting faster and faster into what you see today. Eugene is a sports team and expects to win every game.

The Repubs need to get to be more like Oregon and learn how to win. Talking to Repubs and candidates you get this losing feeling like they expect it when everything is moving in their direction. Candidates and their campaigns have to know they are going to win and bring that expectation to the voters. The Repubs have every issue they support, being agreed to by around 88%, so it is time to take it to the field and go long.

Where is Don Johnson? Look in the mirror, he is looking right at you. This is going to be the biggest election in Oregon histoir as these candidates can run like never before on men in women’s sports, showers, and bathrooms. Nobody wants that and are simply trying to shut you up, so they don’t get challenged why do you even have women’s sports if the two sexes were the same athletically. Either eliminate women’s sports and keep testosterone out or have women’s sports for only women which is why they call it women’s sports. Now some of us were pretty good at backseat coed wrestling.

Parents want their kids educated and not indoctrinated so they can come out of school with the ability to read, write, and do math rather than wasting time on 52 sexes. Christine Drazan has an entire plan as well as firing the department head who is promoting these radical agendas parents do not want. Let these people have a voice to blow these agendas away.

You cannot win if your gas prices are $2/gal higher than Red States. Why is Oregon so much higher than the rest of the country for gas and energy if it is ever going to be able to keep up with them, They cannot since Tiny Kotax and her Cartel is holding Oregonians back to lose on the field of ideas and economics. They have put an anvil around businesses ankles in higher gas, energy, and taxes and then told to run the 100 meters against the best sprinters in the world, it is a losing race before it starts.

It is not up to our candidates or even Drazan to point these huge problems out to the voters. This is your and my job to tell everyone why they are not able to afford to live in the state and it is time for a change. It is time to bring in Don Coleman and tell him to go long for a touchdown or two and begin to win games. It is time to become Kamikaze Kids and give every last ounce of energy to win these games against the 40-year champion who is loving men in women’s sports and high gas prices with crippling taxes.

Everyone needs to contribute $20 to Drazan today and one other candidate to show you are willing to break this losing streak. This is the first step to winning and turning this nightmare into Autzen stadium. You will be giving far more than that if Kotax wins so give Christine a boost to win her race.
