Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

One of my brothers a couple years ago challenged me to tithe everything to the Lord. We worked together and everything was tithed as first fruits not last and it sounded pretty scary. I had always given to the church but would hardly call it actual tithing and it is really testing your faith God will provide and boy has He.

When talking to a friend of mine he called churches and pastors flim-flam artists who fleece old ladies of their savings. He asked why they were always passing the plate and begging for money. I told him it was freeing to not be controlled by your money but being willing to give a portion to the poor through the church and build the kingdom.

He later came to Christ as he realized giving to the Lord frees you from making money your god. It is hard to not worship money since it is how man measures himself and obviously makes life more comfortable the more you have, but does it. Some of the most miserable people on the planet have large quantities of money.

The number of miracles which have happened since I started tithing are uncountable but it seems like some of them are money coming right after the tithe and at the moment it is needed.

God knows where are weaknesses are and craving money is one which can never be satisfied. He knows it is a sense of pride as well as something most people can never have enough. He also knows most sins go hand in hand with money so he has given us a way to minimize its hold on us through tithing which brings unknown amounts of help to people in need.

The church is a far better place to help the poor since the money goes much further through the church than it does using taxes. There is too much graft and corruption in the gummit than there is in church. There are also millions of volunteers rather than extremely well paid bureaucrats eating up the money rather than getting it to the person who needs it.

A church is hundreds times more efficient than gummit due to the lack of wages and benefits needed for volunteers vs nameless gummit workers. Now the amount of fraud proves there is graft in these programs taking as much as half or more and then the remainder being used to pay workers. It is likely only 10% of the intended dollars make it to the needy while somewhere around 80-90% of the tithe does.

Whether God blesses you the way you want or he just blesses you by freeing you from the control money has over you it is a blessing. It also blesses the needy and God’s kingdom to free the lost from their bondage of this Satanic humanism the world is feeding culture.

Man measure on a scale you can never measure up to. There will always be someone with more money, or more treasures. Even Elon Musk does not measure up in certain areas of his life by man’s measurement. This is not God’s measuring system. There is only one thing which matters to God which is your life and Salvation. It is the ultimate humility to God admitting you cannot manage your life and need his forgiveness and guidance to save you from your sins past and present.

Salvation is the only thing you have which God wants. He wants relationship with you and your belief in Him. It is the easiest thing there is but the hardest for many to admit you cannot do it on your own. He makes life easier for you in all areas including freeing you from money’s control.
