For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Every test we give these Super Lists they pass with flying colors. We put them to the test this time going to tortilla flats in Tualatin where the list said there were very few Repubs and lots of motor voters and was absolutely right.

Walter and I started on Boones Ferry road as it listed a few Repubs and it was spot on with those houses. The ones we caught said they were looking forward to voting for Drazan and getting rid of Crazy Kotax. All three houses had American flags, and one had a flagpole and an incredible layout of sheds and outbuildings. There was no doubt all of them were Repubs and solid citizens.

We then went to the low-income apartments to put the list through its paces in the Mexican apartments. We started with independents and Repubs and got absolutely no pushback and very friendly people. One was a Ducks fan and was wanting to talk for a while and said he would be voting this time and took the information and cheat sheet. Everyone was very friendly to us although we never did actually get ahold of any Repubs since there were so few.

Walt then wanted to do his adoptees, and we moved to a nice neighborhood which had lots of Repubs. The reception there was incredible as the Repubs not only were glad to see us but thanked us for knocking doors for Drazan. Everyone knew this was an important race and were anxious to vote for her and said they were all voting early.

Walt went up to one of the houses we walk by every day and had a long conversation with the lady who was so glad we had a cheat sheet she could fill out her ballot with. She thanked him for five minutes for stopping by and giving her and her family the list of Repubs she could vote for.

The last one on the list was especially interesting. Walt had been talking to him for a few minutes, and they were having a good time together. He talked of how he had hurt his hand which changed his signature and he kept getting his ballot rejected for not being able to sign it in the same signature as before.

I knew the family next to him and we talked about them he spoke of how the neighbor was going to be getting heart surgery and how he told him he would pray for him, but Ray was a bit hesitant about it. I asked what church he went to, and he said Athey Creek which he had been going since they were in the Middle School it was named after and knew Pastor Brett very well. Walt laughed and told him I went there too.

He said he knew Pastor Stan and Karen Russell since he went to Grace Community Church before then and I told him so did I. It was old home week although I had never seen him at either church. He told Walter his wife would love a Drazan sign, and he said he would drop one off and I asked if he wanted to really help by making sure five of his Repub neighbors would vote. He said yes and Walt will be dropping the names off with the sign. He was an incredible guy who is anxious to help.

What a great time with a fantastic list which puts you in front of the right people while keeping you away from the wrong ones. It passed the test once again with an A+.

Pray for more workers for the election
