Kotax is Unaffordable 2/27/2026

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Finish it Ed! The Dims have to get your petition moved to May or they are facing a bloodbath in November. They can pass this bill on May 1st and they will find a way to get it on the ballot, you can bet on it. If they believe assassinating someone is justified then what is stopping them from breaking a few laws if it means stealing another election.
Now is the time to pull out all the stops to finish this victory. Do not let them vote on it Monday or Tuesday since you know they will find a way to make it law. You have the moral high ground saying a quarter of a million people signed it in three weeks against every sleezy trick Kotax could throw at you.
You have the affordability argument since Oregonians cannot afford their homes, cars, and food, yet you want to throw another $2-500 a month Kotax at them. What are they supposed to give up gas for their car or food for their children? There isn’t one person in the Marble Cake who have to make this decision so why should you care about your pain?
How many billions per year do hard working Oregonians have to pay so these Dems can make the state a Sanctuary state? You can bet it could fund this bill and then some, but they have to bleed the working class and then pretend they care about affordability. The only one making things affordable is President Trump.
Remember when Oregon hated Los Angeles and their big city attitude? Now the state wants to be just like them right down to the $6/gal gas and yearly wildfires. They have gotten rid of two of their refineries when they had both the oil off the coast and refining capability to fuel every car on the West Coast. Rather than cheap gas they would rather Virtue Grandstand the no gas in California. How stupid can you be.
Not to be outdone, Oregon got rid of their coal fired power plant just a couple of years after making it perfectly pollution free with giant scrubbers. Just like California they had to virtue signal the closing of the power plant so they can brag to LA how much they care about the dirt. Never mind it produced Carbon Monoxide rather than Carbon Dioxide, it had Carbon in it so it was evil.
They were so pure they would not allow coal to be shipped across the state on rail since some dust may blow off and lay next to the rails to cause Global Warming or pollute the striped worms or something they did not want to happen so no coal shipped on trains in Oregon. This is how stupid politicians are in this state. Oregon should have the lowest electricity bills in the country if not for Dims virtue grandstanding.
Every time they say the word affordability they should be laughed out of the building. They have done everything they can to make Oregon one of the least affordable states in the union. From closing the forests, power plants, mines, farms, and dams to raising the cost of cars, food, and gas, they want to lecture the world on how to make Oregon more affordable.
How about you sell or give some of your 10,000 square miles of land you are sitting on doing nothing with other than watching it burn. How about letting young people and veterans have it to build a home or business on since you are wasting it.
You want to make housing more affordable give some of that land away and cut the cost of a home in half. Are you talking about affordability for Oregonians as a talking point or do you want to do something about it. Oregon won’t hold its breath as you hit them with billions more Kotaxes and fees.
Pray for Portland’s Salvation
