Delivering the KoTax Petition 12/15/2025

What a festive time to have a revolution as Ed Dehl and Bruce Starr turned in an early Christmas present to Grinch Kotax. You had Santa driving the wagon drawn by two giant horses bringing those packages surrounded by elves and elvettes. It was one of the best staged events ever imagined as they delivered an early Christmas gift to Oregonians everywhere
It was a great festive event since everyone was in a joyful mood having accomplished one of the biggest accomplishments in Oregon histoir (a little French lingo) so there was an air of celebration. I had brought a camera to video it and made some excellent interviews with everyone from Ed to Santa and unfortunately it did not come out due to a bad cameraman. Oh well, live and learn.
Ed, Bruce and everyone else did an incredible job as they were able to get over double the signatures they needed in half the time allowed by Queen Kotax. What kind of power hunger do you have to have to shove a tax increase down Oregonian’s throats by pure bullying requiring a special session then breaking political arms to get every Democrat to vote for it. She even had one delivered from the Hospital so she could claim victory over the most hated bill in years. Did she use an ambulance?
Now the bill has backfired completely on the Dims. Her bill not only got the No Tax petition over doubled the required signatures it strongly helped the other petitions which are being circulated. In the end this could get more votes on the ballot as the excitement of this petition across the spectrum has drawn more interests in the people having a voice in their personal taxes.
It is time to take this to the next level and point out the difference between Social Communists and Repubs. DemoCommunists believe every dollar, every piece of property, and every person belongs to them. They do not care about the welfare of Oregonians, only the ability to control them 24/7/365. This bill will not make people’s lives better but will make them far more miserable as they pile tax on top of tax on top of tax. Welcome to Social Communism.
They will sell it as saving the eart or road maintenance but in reality it is nothing more than enslavement by a bunch of Communist tyrants. It is time to shake off these tyrants and begin talking to everyone you know and half you don’t about the Gas Kotax and place it firmly on the Dims shoulders. Even the most radical Tesla driver needs to be told they are going to be paying an additional $400 per year as punishment for not buying gas, talk about friendly fire.
They are going to make the same old claim this is for something you really need like roads and bridges when they have wasted tens of billions which could have gone to roads. This money is to replace all the money they have wasted on Sanctuaries and Medical Care as well as debit cards for newly arrived unvetted immigrants. The rest she has wasted. Until her expense book stops looking like Mexico City’s she can just have Oregonians overtaxed rather than massively Kotaxed.
This is Ed Dehl and the Repub's chance to build a coalition which will change the state for years to come. The winds of change has come and Oregon is ready to take that step. It is tired of Portland burning, unsafe streets, and excessive taxes. Oregon has been looking for a rallying point and Gas Kotax has given them that gift. Merry Christmas Mrs. Grinch.
