Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

If only the Repubs would spend half as much energy fighting the Dumorats as they do fighting each other. Usually, it is the establishment Repubs fighting MAGA and the populist candidates only this time it is MAGA going to try to throw the election this Nov to get revenge on the establishment. As if forty years is not enough time in the wilderness, we need another four years to make them pay.

The Daily Bray is enthusiastically endorsing Christine Drazen for Governor and will be doing everything it can to help her get elected. This is the best chance in forty years to break out of the drought and it is time for unity over division. Oregon will be the shining example in the West when beats the least popular Governor in America.

There is a group of hardcore purists who believe they are too pure to vote for Christine due to some skirmishes in the past. Now as someone who does not get into the weeds or no longer worry about petty disputes, it is more important to have these disputes while in power than from the outside looking in. When is the last time anyone has lost their way to victory?

Here are the reasons why she has my endorsement. First and foremost she is strongly pro-life which is unheard of for someone running in Oregon and especially for Governor. You can count on no hands the number of pro-life Governors. It has always been called the kiss of death and she never ran away from it.

Even though she handled it poorly last time she still got as close as anyone in decades. She was overcoached on the subject in her debate with Betsy Ross, the moderator, and Kotax as she got labeled an extremist by the three women debating her.

Rather than an apologetic answer she should have said, I am not the extremist, these three women are since they all believe a baby should be killed in the birth canal when I and most women do not. And yes I would sign a third trimester ban on abortions if it came to my desk, and hopefully it does. These are the extremists.

The second is she is a strong supporter of resource management. Her family comes from the lumber industry which is the hardest hit industry in Oregon and will be a friend to Forests for Oregon. We will help her make it easy to explain to the independents the importance of the forests and mining possibilities in Oregon to help people find jobs and opportunities in the state while separating herself from Tina Kotax.

The only time I saw her speak was at the Charlie Kirk memorial in Wilsonville and was very impressed with her faith in Jesus. She was obviously affected by his senseless death and very open about her belief in Jesus. To have a pro-life Christian on the ballot in Oregon is unheard of and prayerfully she will be led by God in all she does.

Now those who claim she doesn’t act very Christian, look in the mirror. I don’t act very Christian and neither do you which is why he tells us for the one who has not sinned to throw the first stone.

It is time for Republicans and especially us Conservative Christians to forgive and forget and do everything we can to get her elected. Of course, it is fashionable to say she is not this or too much that but she won the nomination and you have two choices. If you want to throw rocks under her campaign or sit out the vote, at least be honest and vote for Tiny Kotax. Otherwise, grow a spine and lets turn this state Red after 40 years in the desert.
