Dr Bob Zybach who is running for Lane County Commisioner is the most knowledgeable man in forestry and especially Oregon coastal timber as anyone in the country. He has been a Doctor of Forestry for fifty years and has studied and cared for these dying forests like nobody in the world. When axed about the heartbreak he feels from the death of these forests over the past sixty years he responded, if North Korea were to mismanage our forests the way the state and federal gummits have it would be considered an act of war.

One of the most stunning facts he said was if you take all of the forest fires from 1900 until 1960 such as the Tillamook burn, the Oxbow, Dry Creek and the rest the total area of all of them would be burned in about an hour and a half of a modern wildfire.

Not only would there be more acreage destroyed you have soil sterilization which is the temps being over 2000-2500 degrees sterilizing all the microbes out of the ground over a foot down. This makes the soil unable to nourish any plants for the next hundred years.

This is devastating for the state of Oregon, which he has been warning for fifty years but nobody cares so they let the crimes proceed. If these so-called environmentalists cared the slightest about these forests they would listen to what Bob has to say and how he could help them fix this crisis in the forests. This may have been the largest environmental disaster in America and is allowed to continue unabated.

Even more eye opening is these forests are purposely being destroyed as a money laundry for the different GMOs which ends up in the pockets of the same people making the rules. Of course, the Sierra Club is at the top of the list with all of their EnviroNazi allies such as Friends of the Eart, Cascadia Project, Dirt First, and every other radical environmental popcorn machine.

When these groups who have caused this situation claim the Oregon Indians used to burn these forests to keep them healthy they completely mislead. They used to burn to keep the brush down and make highways to travel in when the firewood ran out since trees were the main form of energy. This got rid of the weed trees Lodgepole Pine, which are the first to die and burn but let the fire climb into the canopies. The Sierra Club would have slapped a lawsuit on them faster than you can say Earth First.

He spoke of fixing the forests by immediately begin harvesting 2-3 Billion board feet from the coastal forests just to get rid of the overgrown forests. This would allow these trees room to grow healthy as well as taking the dead and dying trees out to begin the healing and proper management of these forests.

Bob also spoke of having domesticated animals brought into these forests to control the underbrush which is the igniter of many of these wildfires. Animals like sheep and goats and even cattle on level enough ground, but something to eat the grass and bushes while the forests begin to heal themselves from their devastation.

Bob has a fifty-year and hundred-year plan to rebuild the forests to either turn the forests into more healthy Douglas Fir forests or historic species or a hybrid of the two allowing the forests to get back to proper management as it was a hundred years ago.

His harvest levels would generate tens of millions of dollars to the counties in timber revenues as even in today’s deflated prices would be worth twenty to thirty billion dollars making jobs and downstream businesses for these devastated towns.

The more you look at this and the enthusiasm of the Communist Party to destroy these forests and towns it looks like they are starving these people out on purpose just like was done to the Ukraine and Mongolia by their communist leaders. No rural voters means more dims in office so why not systematically close down their livelihoods in the name of protecting the earth.

This needs to be a first priority for anyone running for office in Oregon.
