Super Duper Lists 10/30/2026

If Bill Yant hasn’t invented the easiest yet most effective driving system ever made it would be hard to find one better since it does not exist. The only problem it had was it was too susceptible to pilot error. Sometimes you have to get out of the way of the tool and let the hammer do the work.
While I was knocking doors in the rain from the car at the start I ran into this sweet older lady named Betty. She axed what I wanted and I said I was just making sure she was voting and started handing her a cheat sheet. She wouldn’t take it and said she was not voting.
I was confused and knowing she was a Repub and asked why not. She didn’t give a real answer and went back to my car. As I was getting in she asked who I was with and I said the Republican Party and she said she likes Trump, which I responded I love Trump.
She then said that is why she cannot vote because she likes Trump too much and her kids hate him. That made me curious which made me go back to talk to her and try to figure out what was going on.
I could hear her kids in the background so I laid it on pretty thick about loving Trump and how he has done more for this country than the last five Presidents combined and why she doesn’t vote. She said it starts fights and how she could hear her kids getting started from our conversation. I axed how they can take her Right to vote simply for liking Trump, that is not right hoping we could have a conversation but they never came out, the cowards.
As I was walking to my car Betty thanked me and I told her that I loved her. It was a very special moment you only get from knocking on people’s doors.
These lists are too perfect, you don’t have do anything but follow where the map sends you. The night before I kinda followed the maps but didn’t really but I got the feeling it was following a preset trail through my precinct which made me curious.
I decided to follow the QR codes completely without fail and see if it did take me on a path through my precinct. We got an update from the state taking out all the people who had voted and then lowered it to just the part-time voters making the list only 13 pages with lots of blank spaces.
I clicked on the first QR Code opening it on Google Maps and it took me a couple of blocks away and started knocking doors wherever the Codes let me. I followed the trail following the little car on my phone going from house to house with ease. It found the most obscure Courts all over the precinct and whenever I needed to stop would leave it open and would pick-up wherever I left off.
After a half hour it became obvious Bill is a genius to put this together as it went from QR to QR working its way efficiently through the precinct from neighborhood to neighborhood. I kept track of names and what happened at the door on my printout pages but followed the phone as it led me on the trail it had programed itself with.
The last door was with a lady who was not there and her older son answered the door saying she wasn’t there and would not be back or voting. I asked if she died and he said no, she has Alzheimer and I told him how sorry I was. You could tell he was hurting and his mom was in some place in Colorado and would not be back. I should have asked if he wanted her on the prayer list but had a moment with him which was special.
This list system is everything I dreamed a system could be and ten times better. It is so simple a kindergartener can use it and even a 65 year old woman with no phone or computer skills. Anyone can download it without twenty passwords and codes and all you have to do is print out the raw lists and highlight the QR, go to google maps and follow the tiny car. Maps will take you to the house and give them a cheat sheet. What could be easier.
Go out and chase some ballots and have a blast turning Oregon Repub.
