Washington Counting GOP is in the middle of another recall of its Chairman and they could not have picked the worst time. The Chairman has agreed to not run for another term so they are only recalling him to punish him for whatever reason they are upset with.

It is now obvious why I was called to become a Repub again since this is the same thing that happened to me to make me drop out of the Chairman of Washington Repub Party. I made the unforgivable sin of writing one of my Bray’s making the claim to my Precinct People Dims belong to a Communist Cult that worshiped an atheistic secular religion.

One of the PCPs or another GOP leader sent the editorial to the Oregonian who printed it on the front page of the paper. That was then end of my time with the Washington County GOP and I have a unique view of this situation. Unless the Chairman is standing over a dead body holding a bloody knife, let him finish his job.

I have no idea what the issues are or why people are upset and it really doesn’t matter, let him finish his term. You are losing precious time and resources working through the logistics of removing someone from office then these candidates are running down the home stretch needing helpers and you are wasting everyone’s time with a recall. Go knock a hundred doors a day over these last three months and get turn Oregon Red.

Which of the pushers of this recall are going to finish his term. This is a ten-hour a day job with no pay and lots of criticism so which of the people pushing this recall are going to take over organizing these door knocking and campaigning events over the last couple months. These are the most critical and if you are not GOTV you are wasting time, stop wasting time.

I have never met the chairman except one time when he turned in the Gas Tax petition dressed as Santa Claus, who is going to be doing that when he is gone? I know more people on the recall side than the other but see no purpose for this way of changing officers. I like these people but are asking them to drop this recall and go do more important things to get these candidates elected. Knock a hundred doors and you will have this out of your system.

Unless he is standing next to a dead body there are more important things to do than voting out a Chairman and putting another one on the chopping block. Who would possibly want that job after you recall your last one? You have someone stupid enough to take the thankless job so why not count your blessings and move on. There is no time to do this and anyone who votes for it better be volunteering to do his job and do it ten times better.
