Oil and Forests 4/15/2026

The rising gas prices is the perfect example of what happens when you eliminate a certain amount of production of an important commodity. In the case of oil is a critical strategic form of energy and the lifeblood of most economies. This is what happened with the lumber production in America and especially Oregon where the production was stopped. It has artificially raised the price of lumber driving up the price of homes or anything produced using wood.

Under Biden and now with the Iran you had prices rising from an interruption of production. With Iran it is likely going to be temporary and due to the shutdown of the Strait and now blockade. With Biden it was his systematic war on oil to artificially raise prices in an attempt to make Battery Powered cars more attractive. He closed the XL Pipeline, Gulf of America, Alaska, and most federal lands to fracking and exploration dropping oil dramatically forcing prices up to satisfy his environmental extremists.

It backfired dramatically as none of the drivers were happy having to fill their cars with fifty dollars of gas when they were paying $30 a few months earlier. He then pumped the Strategic Reserve which Trump filled with nearly free oil when there was a glut and countries could not give it away.

Oil companies were able to work around his restrictions and oil production came up and gas came down. This is a perfect example of how the Communists love to mismanage America’s resources for their own selfish needs. They need to virtue signal by locking everything up and shutting down every industry they hate which is nearly everything America makes. They get a virtue high from saving the earth even if they know it is a lie.

The same arrogance and selfishness has destroyed the Oregon forests which are now a forest fire waiting to happen. In their need to virtue signal their worship of the trees and need to kill the lumber industry they have stopped caring for these forests. Forests 4 Oregon wants to do just the opposite and be Stewards of these forests the way God intended man to do.

Forests 4 Oregon wants these forests to be managed properly and rehabilitated after forty years of neglect by the state and federal gummits. Forests 4 Oregon wants them to be healthy again while creating income for Oregonians through quality jobs and legacy homesteads working together to make Oregon one of the most prosperous and cleanest states in America.

The Bureau of Land Management is putting together a plan to do just that and Oregon is in a prime position to take advantage of this plan. It will be centered on the O&C lands which will be managed by the counties who will be receiving revenues from their forest lands. This will revitalize the rural communities while starting to bring the forests back to the health they enjoyed decades ago. This will eliminate the fires and bring back the wildlife which used to flourish in these lands.

Candidates can help this state and its forests to begin a comeback which is long overdue. Just like the oil has been mismanaged and causing high gas prices these forests can be managed properly to make homes more available for both people and the forest creatures. It is time to stop worshiping the Creation and become stewards of God’s wonderous gifts.
