Losing Elections in Oregon 3/30/2026

First some housekeeping about the interview with Dana Hindman-Allen running for State Representative. I misunderstood about her legal case against over the recount. She did not think she won the election but wanted a recount for another reason. Also, her friend noticed votes disappearing saw it at 4:30 in the morning rather than 2:30 like I claimed. It is hard to be accurate with very limited time and especially on a phone call.

Turns out the latest More Kings protest was a king-sized dud. Driving the freeway on the Portland eastside which had two or three overpassed covered with signs and protesters last one, had one lone white woman with a flag and a sign you could barely make out unless you knew the protest was actually happening that day.

Is their endless supply of money and morons actually drying up? Are those closings of the NEA and different money laundries putting a crimp on their rent-a-mob activities so all they have are a bunch of radical Dims who are not known for their ingenuity or ability to get things done. Is it possible the machine is running out of unlimited funding? You know the last place they want to fund would be P-Town since it is considered an automatic win in the midterms.

If the Repubs want to win the election which is a big if, they need to stop being so nice to the Communist Left. It is time to stop listening to their managers and take a risk. The problem with managers is their motto is: No matter if we win or lose, as long as the check cashes. They are not going to have their candidate do or say anything which will destroy their resume for the next loss.

Managers get their degrees or teaching from someone who copies the election formula. The formula is 100,000 calls, 50,000 knocked doors, 1000 signs, 200,000 mailers and as much radio/TV/internet as you can buy. This is how you are supposed to win elections and why they need to raise so much money.

The formula was designed by the Democrat Party and is copied by the Repubs and expect it to work just as well for them. It does not work in a state like Oregon since the formula requires unlimited money, lots of paid volunteers, a media carrying your message for you free of charge.

The Repubs are using a formula which is designed for Dims and not Repubs. Repubs have limited funding especially in a poor state like Oregon, no union volunteers and most are over sixty, and a hostile media. They are using a losing system on all fronts and continue to use this same system over and over for their designated losers.

President Trump won by saying no to all the political managers in the District of Corruption and ran it himself using ideas everyone said would lose. His war on illegal immigrants was supposed to be a guaranteed loser since immigration was designated the third rail of politics by all the managers so even Hispanic candidates were forbidden from talking about it. Trump won on closing the border and deporting illegals.

There are ways to win in Oregon even with all the liberalism in the state. You can bet managers are telling their candidates to not talk about certain issues like ICE and certain groups like MAGA you should avoid like the plague. These managers are not saying this for the benefit of the candidate but to make sure they do not have a blemish like that on their resume.

Tomorrow I will give some ideas which will work except it will take some courage and risk embracement many candidates and every manager will have a problem with. They need to realize you have two choices for Repubs, you can either win ugly or lose graciously. There are no other options. Repubs have some huge advantages but they have to know what they are and how to use them.
