Christine Drazan and School Choice 9/14/2026
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
Christine Drazan is taking on the Teachers Unions and the Rainbow Mafia with her Restore Graduation Requirements to Education. This should get every parent in the state’s vote since they know Tyrant Kotax will not do any of those things to upset her Mafia pals. This is a bold challenge and goes to the heart of what is wrong with Oregon’s pathetic number 49 rated school system.
Restore high academic expectations by reinstating meaningful graduation requirements and ensuring Oregon students graduate prepared for work, college, the trades or military service.
This is the most basic of basics if you want to train kids who can function in the job market. This is the problem with the Communist Party is they want uneducated kids who will be wards of the state their entire lives and not understand where the money comes from to pay for all the free candy, it comes from them and they think it is the Free Candy Fairy.
Prioritize early literacy and end social promotion by ensuring students can read proficiently by third grade before advancing to the next grade level.
This is exactly what the Teachers Unions do not want. They want to brainwash them into the Rainbow agenda and become little serfs for the state. The last thing they want is their ability to read and think for themselves rather than the Party thinking for them with Climate Change and Cops are bad as well as boys are girls and girls are boys.
Restore safe, focused classrooms by giving teachers the authority to remove persistently disruptive students from the classroom.
Teachers should be voting for this obvious need to keep the classroom disciplined. Teachers should be able to remove disruptive students as long as it is not punishment for disagreeing with the crazy agenda being pushed down students’ throats.
Keep classrooms focused on education by reviewing and revising Department of Education rules that impact the classroom but aren’t focused on academic achievement.
This one is so over do in the state of Oregon. The agenda is so filled with political and social indoctrination there is no time left for kids to learn. Most of the kids do not want to be forced to regurgitate the latest virtue grandstand rather than actually learn something worthwhile. It is very abusive for teachers to abuse their authority by making kids listen to and repeat a political agenda which goas against their belief system.
Reduce bureaucracy and support educators by cutting unnecessary administrative red tape so teachers can spend more time teaching and less time on paperwork.
This one is protection for the taxpayers who are paying for overhead which is not needed. These are make work jobs which fatten the employment numbers while hurting the average Oregonian. This one is needed 100%.
Support school choice and educational opportunities so families can choose the learning environment that best meets their child's needs
The allowance of school choice helps parents and schools by making them more competitive with private schools by making them more attractive to parents. It would also give parents more variety for their children if they are gifted in computers or mechanical and anything other than going to college like schools are built for today.
Strengthen parental rights by ensuring curriculum transparency and protecting parents' ability to review instructional materials and opt their children out where appropriate.
Another one which is timely as well as necessary for parents today. When they are grooming kids for homosexuality this allows parents to have the final say. Parents have to know if their kid is being given drugs or hormones without the parent’s knowledge. The schools need to be told these kids are not theirs but belong to the parents to raise them properly. This is a well thought out and balanced plan which will return Oregon education to the basics of being able to read, write and do math so they are prepared for jobs which require a basic education if not a better than average. Right now, you are sending kids out who cannot read or do simple math and what good are those to an employer? Every parent with a kid in school should be voting for Drazan to give their children the gift of knowledge. Parents need to contribute to her like you did with School Choice since she is for it and her plan represents all the issues parents have been begging for.
Pray for Drazan
