The Jesus Picture 4/16/2026

Since the NeverTrumpers and Semi-Trumpers are sounding outraged by Trump’s Jesus photo may as well jump into it. As Trump’s number one fan I was not bothered in the slightest since a picture is nothing holy or sacrilegious. Nobody knows what Jesus looks like and just like people burning Bibles it has nothing to do with my Salvation or love of Jesus’ mercy.

As for the ridiculousness of it, when is the last holy picture of Jesus in front of a giant American flag and a half dozen bombers and fighter jets flying overhead. Where are there pictures of Jesus with soldiers in the clouds with full military uniforms? It was more a picture of the military than it was anything showing a Messianic figure.

I didn’t really know what it was supposed to be but if anything, it looked like Trump healing a dying may who could have been Uncle Sam. It was more patriotism than religion and pure Trump tweaking his enemies although Christians who believe in holy articles got their noses out of joint and to remind Trump to be more like every other boring politician. Personally, I thought it was funny as can be and an in your face to all of those who no longer think America believes in freedom of speech. Freedom of speech requires you are able to offend people who do not believe the way you do, so what? That is why there is no Mark Twain or Uncle Tom’s Cabin in the schools anymore

America is witnessing one of the truly fertile minds ever to occupy the White House. He is the first non-politician to hold the office and may be the last. He made his billions in the rough and tumble construction industry where men are men and women are nervous. It is a world where guys rib each other and horse around for laughs and giggles and yes they like to swear and tell jokes. Most of the guys use the F-bomb at least a hundred times a day since it is considered a colorful way of talking.

Washington was about the last President who had not worked his way up through the political ladder and a part time President. It is unheard of to be a billionaire and bypass the political ladder and just go for President like Trump did. The second election was even more unusual with the entire establishment breaking every legal and moral law to destroy him and still wins in a landslide election, miraculous.

Like Reagan who was similar but did steal the nomination from the Repub machine and was outside the DC defeating Bush who ignored many of his advisors and went off script to talk directly to the people. He was told not to tell Gorbechev to tear down the wall which became his signature line. Trump speaks directly to the people and has an economic mind which gives him one of the most ingenious looks at the worldwide picture very few people posess.

Who knows what he saw in the picture but it does look like he is healing America or the forgotten man which is what he is actually doing. If some people want it to be Jesus, fine, why are you making a picture something you worship?

Nobody in the world, let alone any of the best minds in either Party could come up with his method of fighting both Venezuela and Iran. Both of them could have turned into the biggest disasters in the histoir of this country and became two of the biggest victories.

To kidnap Madura and put him in jail and then become business partners with them for their oil while shutting down their drug cartels is beyond incredible while eliminating China’s second biggest oil supply which now producing nearly a million barrels a day. Then he turns his attention to the world’s number one threat.

When all looked to be blowing up sending gas over $200 and crashing the stock market after Iran closes the Strait, he calls for a naval blockade. He throws a few barbs at them in his Trumpian style and basically declares the war over and won while waiting for isolated Iran to cry uncle. Oil is heading back down below $90 and stocks are rising again. The bonus is Iran is China’s number one supplier who is Iran’s number one customer buying over 90% of their oil at a discount, bye bye! He is fighting WW3 with economics rather than boots and guns.

Donald Trump is the Roadrunner President who is always watching Wiley Coyote falling off the cliff with the rock falling after him. His view of the world economically and structurally is like no other man ever to own the office. Big ego? Of course, it comes with the job and called massive leadership at a time the world is desperate for one. So, if some people are offended by a stupid picture or a silly joke let alone some crude language, it’s the way construction people talk and especially in the rougher parts of New York City. That is his attachment to average Joes.

It is time for people like the Pope to stay in his lane and the NeverTrumpers enjoy the ride since you are sitting in on one of the greatest Presidents in your lifetime and likely your children’s lifetimes. You are watching one of the greatest changes in America as he is taking on the biggest issues in the world, something no manager would ever allow a President to do. Like he says in his book, impossible is where the negotiations begin and he has done it over and over. Never seen a picture of Jesus with F-15s, B-1s, soldiers as angels, and Old Glory but maybe I ain’t religious enough.
